Types of Breaks

Just like the name says. You pick the team or Player or division, and you get all the cards from the break for that particular team or Player or division. Prices for each team usually reflect the value for that team/player/division.

All spots in Random Team or Player Style breaks are the same price. Before the cards are opened, we use a site such as Random.org to determine which collector gets which team or player. Sometimes there are combo spots where two teams are combined into one spot. Breakers do this with the teams that have a lower number of hits in the product.  

Similar to the Random Team or Player break, but certain teams or players are set aside to be randomized and divided among participating breakers to ensure that everyone has an equal chance at that team or players cards. The overall value of that team or players are divided evenly among the other teams and players so everyone pays a fair and equal amount in the break.

 This is similar to the Random Team breaks but each break is divided up by division, instead of by the team.  For example, a Football break would be divided into NFC North, South, East, West etc... Same for AFC. 

In random hit style breaks, each collector gets a hit. We open the product first and list the hits in a spreadsheet. We then use random.org  to determining which collector gets to choose which hit they want and on down the list...

 We have a list of product on our website that we call Personals. You can purchase a personal box of cards and we will open it live for you online.   If you purchase a box, the box will be ripped live unless the purchase is made when we are off-line. If you make a purchase while we are offline, your shipment will be made available to rip on the next live. If you are not available on the next live, it will then be shipped sealed.

While there are several various ways to Break, the above are the most common types. Here are a few things to keep in mind  in order to find the perfect style of a break for your own collecting needs.

• Will you receive all of the cards or just the hits?
• Do you even want all your "Base" cards? (non rookie, inserts)
• What is considered a hit? (*This is very important as many people have different ideas of what an actual hit means.*)
• What happens to cards with multiple players from different teams? These are randomized between the teams depicted.
• Who receives a card for a team that is no longer in operation (i.e. Houston Oilers)? If a team has moved or changed names, it will go to the team that they are most closely related to. (Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee and became the Titans, therefor an Oilers card would go to the Titans).
• How long will it take to receive my cards? Usually all shipments are made within 7-10 days after the break.
• What happens if I don’t get a hit in the break? That's the chance we all take!
• How is the price of each team slot determined? Usually depending on popularity of teams based on players and such.
